Catch Sea Grant at Capitol Hill Ocean Week

Capitol Hill Ocean Week (CHOW), hosted by the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, gathers people together from across the U.S. and around the world to engage in a dialogue on how to sustain the health of our ocean and Great Lakes. CHOW takes place virtually June 8-10, 2021, is open to the public and free to attendees.

During Capitol Hill Ocean Week (CHOW) 2019, Sea Grant and the Women’s Aquatic Network collaborated to host a brown bag lunch session on Increasing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Coastal, Marine and Ocean Science Workforce. RDML Gallaudet (NOAA) opened the session with remarks that included a personal story as well as his commitment to make NOAA diverse, equitable and inclusive.
