Bahia Grande Ecosystem Restoration Decision Support Tool

Texas Sea Grant

By geo-referencing and overlaying historic aerial photography on current digital photographs, Texas Sea Grant along with multiple other partners have identified habitat restoration priority areas along the Texas coast. While the project initially focused on the Bahia Grande, it has since expanded to the Brownsville Ship Channel, Vadia Ancha, and Port Mansfield.
