Ecological forecasting of hypoxia assessments in Lake Erie. The project created, tested and applied models to forecast how anthropogenic stresses (like land use and invasive species) and natural stresses (like climatic variability) influence hypoxia formation and ecology, with an emphasis on fish production. This research was funded by the Center for Sponsored Coastal Ocean Research (CSCOR) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
