Wisconsin Sea Grant
The Great Lakes Coastal Storms Program is a regional effort led by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and partnered with Great Lakes Sea Grant Network to make Great Lakes coastal communities safer and more resilient to storm and weather hazards and climate change. Wisconsin Sea Grant hosts the Great Lakes Coastal Storms Program website which provides resources, program updates and information related to the four primary goals of the program: 1) improving dangerous current and wave observations, modeling, forecasting/warnings and risk communication; 2) addressing the impacts of stormwater on natural resources and promoting best management practices; 3) eNew Hampshireancing shoreline mapping, visualization and management; and 4) promoting hazard mitigation and community resilience.
